She testified in court at 10 years old, bravely telling her story to protect others. Now she’s creating something beautiful for other kids who have been through hard things.

I’m excited that my Aunt Gina Faraci is the Treasurer & Secretary of Ellie’s Glow Foundation. When we told her my idea to help kids who’ve been through hard things, she didn’t even blink—she just said “COUNT ME IN.”
Aunt Gina is amazing at planning events and making big ideas actually happen. She believes in me so much and knows I’ll stop at nothing to make this mission real. She also helps people every day as a medical assistant for a house call doctor.
With her love and support, our Foundation can build safe, bright places where kids can heal through play and feel like kids again.
Gloria Avelar
Gloria—we call her Nina Glo—and she’s our Vice President. She’s my mom’s best friend, my Godmother, and the warm, happy energy every room needs. Nina Glo works at a school district and has cared for kids who’ve been through hard things—with patience, kindness, and an open heart. She’s also the most amazing artist (the best face painter!), and kids light up around her.
She believes in my dream so much. I know she will help us create safe, joy-filled spaces for kids like me. I’m so grateful she said yes. With Nina Glo by our side, my glow feels even brighter.
My mom, Kimberly Buchanan—the President of Ellie’s Glow Foundation. She’s the one who helps me turn my big dream into real things kids can feel and use.
My mom and I went through a lot together. She always told me we could choose hope, and she showed me how to heal and still find joy.
My mom is really good at making ideas happen—one event, one glow kit, one hug at a time. She listens to my ideas, helps me plan them, and makes sure every detail is about helping kids feel seen, strong, and loved. I’m the dreamer; she’s the builder. We’re a team.

Andrea Hubbard holds the role of Board Advisor & Community Elder for Ellie’s Glow Foundation. To me, Andrea has always been more than a family friend — she has been like a grandma to me since I was born, and a second mom to my mom, Kimberly, since 2007.
Andrea brings wisdom, creativity, and a grounding presence to our mission. She has lived in multiple countries, carries a unique global perspective, and sees the world through a beautifully creative eye. Beyond her talents, she offers unconditional love, steady guidance, and the management skills to help keep us rooted in our purpose.
I believe she will help ensure that Ellie’s Glow Foundation makes a lasting impact across multiple communities.
